Ads run on a Friday through Thursday schedule. Salem Cinema has a 15-minute ad loop that is scheduled before each movie, and with a 10-15 second screen ad rotating approximately every 3-5 minutes, you are guaranteed visible promotion in all auditoriums a minimum of 3 times before each film, 7 days a week. Salem Cinema cannot guarantee the placement of any ad in the rotation order. (Watch our sample below of a 10-second spot!)
In addition, we will provide a link to your business on our website.
Rates:
• $300 per month (when paid in full)
• $250 per month w/6 month commitment (when paid in full)
• 20% discount offered to non-profits
• Special rates for one-time or annual events
You have the opportunity to change your ad up to once a month during your contract at no additional charge. Any additional changes will incur a $35 charge per change.
We can create an ad for you at an additional cost of $50, however you must provide a high resolution logo and/or image (300dpi). Any additional changes you request us to make to an ad we have created for you during the contract commitment (one per month) will incur a fee of $25 per change.
Artwork Specifications
• All ads are to be submitted as 300dpi
• Aspect ratio 1920 (w) x1080 (h) pixels
• File format .pdf or .jpg
At this time Salem Cinema is not accepting video ads other than those contracted through Spotlight Cinema Networks, our national ad agency.
Design recommendations:
• Use a solid color background
• Keep text to a minimum and use a large, engaging photo for best effect. Use high resolution photos in your ad
• For best results, use light text on dark background, or dark text on light background
• Make sure all text is crisp and clear
• Image or background color can extend to the border, but please leave a 1/4'' area within the ad with NO TEXT to ensure that it does not get cut off.

Deadlines
Ad artwork is due on Wednesday by noon for Friday start. Ads run on a Friday through Thursday schedule.
Policies
We reserve the right to refuse advertisers. Material must be suitable for all ages. We do not accept political or religious ads.
No refunds or credits will be issued.
